Drop in your product photos
One clean photo is enough to start. Add front, back and sides for the closest match. The background is removed for you.
eCommerce · Product 3D
Shoppers who can turn a product round buy with more confidence and send less back. But a 3D model has meant a studio, a sample in the post and a bill per SKU — so most catalogues stay flat. Zetta 3D turns your product photos into light, textured 3D models in minutes, ready for your store and the marketplaces.
Shopify merchant data; NRF & Happy Returns, 2025 Retail Returns Landscape; Build.com A/B test and Shopify; Harris Poll for Threekit. Most figures are reported by platforms and vendors — read them as direction, not promise.
The catch
Everyone agrees 3D sells. Almost nobody has it on every product — because of how the models get made.
Studios quote from about $50 for a simple item to thousands for a detailed one — per SKU, every season.
A textured model with PBR materials is €0.68 in credits. A whole range costs less than one studio model.
Brief the studio, ship the sample, wait for revisions. By the time the model is live, the drop is old news.
Minutes per model, made by you, the day the product photos land.
Scanning and modelling usually need the physical product on a rig or on a desk somewhere else.
Your existing product photos are the input. One photo works; front, back and sides work better.
Every channel caps the file — Shopify suggests about 4 MB, Amazon 5 MB, Google 15 MB — and slow models kill mobile pages.
On a plan, set the polygon budget before you generate, so the model is made light rather than cut down after.
How it works
One clean photo is enough to start. Add front, back and sides for the closest match. The background is removed for you.
A textured 3D model with PBR materials — metal, leather, wood and plastic read as themselves — in minutes. On a plan, choose the polygon budget so it stays light.
Download a GLB for your store and marketplaces — or FBX, OBJ and STL — or send a link that opens the model in any browser.
Real products, generated with Zetta 3D — the same GLB files you would upload to your store.
Where you sell
GLB is the format the big storefronts read for 3D and view-in-your-room. That is what Zetta 3D exports — light, textured, ready to upload.
Add the GLB as product media. Shoppers spin it on the product page and, on supported themes and phones, place it in their room.
Aim for about 4 MBLink the GLB in Merchant Center and your listings can show the product in 3D and in the shopper’s space.
GLB up to 15 MB · US listingsOne GLB powers View in 3D and View in Your Room on your listing.
Brand Registry · 5 MBAny web 3D viewer reads GLB. Or share a Zetta link that opens the model in the browser, no app needed.

The cost
| Way | Cost | Time | What it needs |
|---|---|---|---|
| 3D studio or freelancer | $50 to $5,000+ per SKU | Days to weeks | A brief, references, often the sample |
| Scanning or photogrammetry | Equipment, or a scanning service per item | A shoot per product, then clean-up | The physical product, in the studio |
| Zetta 3D | From €0.68 per textured model | Minutes | Your product photos |
Studio prices from published 2025–2026 rate guides; they vary widely with complexity and volume.
Beyond the model
Image Studio makes lifestyle scenes, backgrounds and edits from the same photos — unmetered on a plan.
Re-texture a model to try another colourway or material before you commit to a shoot.
Separate a product into its real parts — the lid from the bottle, the strap from the bag.
On a plan, models are private by default. Unreleased products stay unreleased.
What to know
Models are generated from pictures, so shape and look follow your photos — they are not CAD. For exact dimensions, start from your CAD files.
Small logos, labels and text may come out less crisp than the real thing. Sharp photos and multi-view help; always check before you publish.
View-in-your-room shows the model at the size in the file. Preview it on your channel before it goes live.
Models made on a free account can be seen by anyone with the link. Use a plan for anything not yet launched.
Questions
Yes — all three take GLB, which is what Zetta 3D exports. Each platform reviews files and has its own size limits (around 4 MB recommended on Shopify, 5 MB on Amazon, 15 MB on Google), so set the polygon budget to keep the file light and check their current guidance before you upload.
One clear photo of the product is enough to generate a model. For the closest match — especially on bags, shoes and anything with a different back — add front, back and side photos with multi-view, which is part of every paid plan.
A textured model with PBR materials on Zetta N1 is 68 credits — €0.68 — and every plan buys credits at €0.01. A new account gets 70 credits, plus 70 more for finishing onboarding: enough for two textured models before you pay anything.
Yes. What you generate is yours, including for commercial use, and that does not change if you cancel.
Plans scale to 15,000 credits a month, and credit packs top up on top of that. For a full catalogue, volume credits are priced per agreement — write to us and we will size it with you.
